Preliminary to the research in cerebral electrophysiology planned under contract AF 18[603]-48, it was necessary to obtain or construct and adapt and install the proper equipment and to develop techniques for accurately locating areas within the brain.nAs final modifications and installation were completed only towards the end of the contract period, a complete description of this facility follows.
