Terrain Classification for Engineering Purposes of the Rolling Downs Province, Queensland

The terrain of parts of the Rolling Downs Province, Queensland, and included and bounding provinces has been classified for engineering purposes in terms of provinces, terrain patterns, terrain units, and terrain components in accordance with the P.U.C.E. programme. Full descriptions of classes at each level of generalization are presented. It is considered that few more terrain patterns, terrain units, or terrain components will require recognition and description to complete the classification of the whole province. (Author)
