SEED WAFERS (A NEW CONCEPT FOR SEEDING VEGETABLES)

摘要

Wafers, incorporating anticrustant material, tomato seeds, starter fertilizer;and activated carbon were made and tested under greenhouse and field conditions. Addition of activated carbon was the most outstanding innovation because it showed significantly that young seedlings obtained by direct seeding can be protected against pre-emergence application of herbicides.
