Failure of Pretreatment with Choline Chloride Alone, alpha Tocopherol Acetate Alone and the Combination of Choline Chloride and alpha Tocopherol Acetate to Prevent Fatty Liver Produced by I. V. Administration of L-Asparaginase in Rhesus Monkeys

It was of interest to determine whether pretreatment with lipotropic factor, choline chloride alone and in a combination with alpha tocopherol acetate (Vitamin E) as well as alpha tocopherol acetate alone, would prevent this effect of L-Asparaginase. Pretreatment with choline chloride alone, choline chloride and alpha tocopherol acetate (Vitamin E) and alpha tocopherol acetate alone, failed to prevent either BSP retention or fatty liver produced by L-Asparaginase in Rhesus monkeys.
