Potential Refinery Bottlenecks Affecting the Supply of Transportation Fuels Through the Year 2000

A computer model is used to project the changes in refinery capacity and product mix that might affect domestic refiners' ability to meet the demand for transportation fuels between now and the year 2000. Specific refinery bottlenecks are identified which may affect not only refining capacity but also the refiners' ability to produce fuels which meet Federal emissions standards.
