Two Analyses of Indian Foodgrain Production and Consumption Data

The two studies in this report, 'Foodgrain Production and Consumption Behavior in India, 1960-67,' and 'Aspects of the Structure of Consumer Foodgrain Demand in India, 1961/62 to 1973/74,' explain why in a time of record production, per capita consumption in India was declining.
