Activities and Progress of Central Tobacco Research Institute, Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh

摘要

A brief outline of the functions of the Institute is given. Then its activities in the various fields related to tobacco growing (viz., agronomy and soil science, genetics and plant breeding, biochemistry, technology and plant nutrition, entomology, pathology, seed and seedlings) are discussed in detail.
