The purpose of the report is to assess the suitability of various materials used for the manufacture of spacer blocks; to determine the relative performance and useful life of the various materials; to determine the cost of using spacer blocks made from these materials, in production; and to assess the influence of spacer block accuracy and saw alignment on the overall standard of operation.
