Uniform Materiel Movement and Issue Priority System

The Directive reissues DoD Directive 4410.6, February 18, 1971, to provide updated criteria for the Uniform Materiel Movement and Issue Priority System which prescribes guidance for the proper ranking of materiel requirements, considering the mission importance of the requiring activity and the urgency of need for the materiel, and provides incremental time standards for requisition processing and materiel movement.
