摘要

This report describes a method of calculating the vibratory response of a rigid body having six degrees of freedom. Any oscillatory excitation force or moment can be represented by choosing an appropriate combination of the specified forces and moments and their relative phase. A maximum of four support mountings may be modeled. Each support may independently (1) be attached at any location, (2) have its principal axis in any direction, (3) exert forces only in its principal direction, and (4) have any property up to that of a full Maxwell model. Calculation output comprises rectilinear and angular displacements with their relative phase, and 36 receptance terms, at any given frequency. The method is suited to solution by digital computer.
