摘要

The purpose of the Symposium was to provide a state-of-the-art discussion on software engineering, and the verification and validation (V&V) of software life-cycle activities. In addition, the Symposium was designed to stimulate thinking on the potential application of V&V techniques to software during the system acquisition process.
