The bibliography is the result of a search for information on the macrozoobenthos and aquatic macrophytes found in the SCDRS on ten online data bases: BIOSIS Previews; Aquatic Sciences and Fisheries Abstracts; Life Sciences Collection; National Technical Information Service; Dissertation Abstracts International; SciSearch; Water Resources Abstracts; Zoological Record; Federal Research in Progress; and Pollution Abstracts. Seventy-five papers are listed with authors abstract (in quotation marks), when available and appropriate.
