Part 2 of the Report contains the core protocol which provides the framework and standardized methods for observing and documenting health impairments in workers and other populations exposed to organophosphorus compounds. Part 1 of the book, serves as a companion document to the core protocol and summarizes the preliminary findings and practical experience gained from the preliminary phase of the core protocol by participating institutions in Europe. It provides information to help with the establishment of programs for assessing and controlling pesticide-associated hazards and monitoring and research activities based on the core protocol itself.
