Modified Mixed Oxide Catalysts for the Selective Oxidation of Methane. Annual Report, September 1990-May 1991

摘要

Five batches of non-stoichiometric iron-molybdate catalysts were synthesized and characterized by a variety of physical and chemical methods. The catalytic activity was measured in a flow reactor. Product analysis was performed with gas chromatography and iodometric titration of formaldehyde. Production of formaldehyde was achieved under mild reaction conditions.
