Use of Tetracycline as Complexing Agent in Radiochemical Separations. A Review of Work Done at IPEN (Instituto de Pesquisas Energeticas e Nucleares, Sao Paulo, Brazil)

摘要

A review of the work carried out in the 'Instituto de Pesquisas Energeticas e Nucleares' on the use of tetracycline for analytical purposes in solvent extraction procedures is presented. Individual extraction curves for the lanthanides, zinc, scandium, thorium, neptunium and protactinium were obtained. Separations of those elements one from another, and of uranium from selenium, bromine, antimony, barium, tantalum and tungsten were carried out. (Atomindex citation 14:770877)
