摘要

We have measured, at an average centre-of-mass energy of 34.22 GeV a forward-backward charge asymmetry in the reaction e exp + e exp - implies mu exp + mu exp - of value -0.161 +- 0.032. This demonstrates the existence of an axial vector neutral current with coupling strength of gsup(e)sub(a)gsup( mu )sub(a) = 0.53 +- 0.10. We have also obtained a limit on the vector coupling strength of gsup(e)sub(v)gsup( mu )sub(v) < 0.12. The Weinberg angle is found to be sin exp 2 THETAsub(W) = 0.29sup(+0.09)sub(-0.11). From the reaction e exp + e exp - implies tau exp + tau exp - we have found gsup(e)sub(a)gsup(tau)sub(a) < 0.34, gsup(e)sub(v)gsup(tau)sub(v) < 0.55. (ERA citation 08:008522)
