摘要

An arbitrarily oriented antenna system consisting of an array of N antennas and a test antenna above the imperfect ground is described by (N+1) -port network. By using the field representation, the result shows how the ground parameters are incorporated into the model. The radiation pattern, directivity, and the power gain of the array are formulated in the transmitting case. The optimum excitations which maximize the directivity, and the power gain, are obtained as solutions of the corresponding eigenvalue equations.
