Automated Numerical Integration over a Triangle

摘要

The metalgorithm concept is applied to automatic cubature over triangular regions. Special consideration is given to the computer representation of the smaller triangles generated. The design of cubature formulae with a built-in error estimate is discussed, and a 19-point formula of degree 8 that includes the points of the 7-point formula of degree 5 is derived.
