Buckling of Sandwich Panels Subjected to Axial Compression, Shear Forces and Lateral Pressures. Part 2: Analysis

The Aerospace Division of SAAB-SCANIA initiated in 1962 a comprehensive study on analysis and testing of sandwich panels subjected to combined in-plane and normal loading. The investigation was related to bonded panels with aluminum skins and aluminum honeycomb core. The purpose of the investigation was to develop and verify analysis methods applied in the stress and strength analysis of honeycomb panels used in aircraft primary structures.
