The manufacture of glued laminated beams of industrial dimensions with an adhesive based on sulphited wattle tannin, which at a 10% resorcinol content, can be cured at a temperature of 50 degrees C is discussed. Accelerated life weathering tests, moisture resistance tests, and shear strength tests are described.
