Graph Theoretic Procedure for the Design of Feedback Patterns

摘要

Using a recent characterization of structurally fixed modes, a graph theoretic procedure is developed for the design of feedback patterns, which permits the stabilization of a given time invariant linear system. The proposed method is flexible enough to take into account various design aspects as costs of information transfers, cost of compensators, and the complexity of the closed loop system. Two examples of a large scale system are used to illustrate the procedure.
