摘要

The design of the HERA facility to study exotics (including fragmentation of partons); photon-gluon fusion and heavy quark production; specific models for compositeness; gamma gamma and low Qsq physics; and the electrons to pions ratio and the leptonic multiplicity of the events were discussed. How the different processes were treated in order to generate files of events; studies of the general features of interesting processes to look for signatures and examine the requested performances of the detector; the existence of substructures (excited electrons and leptoquarks analyzed as processes where compositeness could show up) and photoproduction were treated.
