Consultative Committee for Space Data Systems recommendation for space data system standards: Telecommand. Part 1: Channel service. Architectural specification

A common recommendation is established which defines the systems architecture of a spacecraft telecommand Channel Service. The intent of this architecture is to provide a common framework within which the agencies participating in the CCSDS may implement compatible future spacecraft telecommanding systems. This recommendation primarily addresses the data unit formats and functions which are implemented within the Coding layer and the physical layers of the CCSDS telecommand channel service.
