摘要

The problem of interpolating scattered three dimensional (R 3 (the set of Realnumbers in three dimensions)) data by a geometrically smooth surface is considered. A completely local method based on employing the so called degenerate triangular Bernstein-Bezier patches is proposed. An analysis of these patches is given and some numerical experiments with quartic and quintic patches are presented.
