Transfer Matrix for the Nonspecular Diffraction of Gaussian Beams

摘要

Nonspecular deformations of a Gaussian beam interacting with a multilayered,planar dielectric structure are described in terms of the complex ray formalism. A three dimensional transfer matrix of the structure is built and relations between the transfer matrix elements and real beam distortions are derived.
