As part of the Arctic Research and Policy Act of 1984, a report on Arctic grantsawarded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) during FY 1991 are described. Bibliographic data and an abstract are included. Topics covered by the projects which received awards are the following: atmospheric sciences, behavioral and cognitive sciences, biological sciences, earth science, engineering infrastructure development, industrial science and technological innovation, education, mechanical and structural systems, ocean sciences, social and economic science, glaciology, arctic system science, and arctic coordination.
