This reports the result of an investigation into NASA's current plans in theevent that an accident occur that destroys or seriously damages a space shuttle orbiter, NASA's plans for maintaining critical manufacturing skills in the shuttle work force, and NASA facilities that will be essential to maintain the shuttle orbiters over their expected lifetime.
