Foreign travel grant for science collaborations involving the ROSAT Observatory

The NASA travel grant to M.I.T. facilitated travel for scientific collaborations with the group responsible for the ROSAT all-sky survey. The ROSAT Principal Investigators reside at the Max Planck Institute for Extraterrestrial Physics in Garching Germany; the travel grant was specifically intended to foster communication and the exchange of scientific information between M.I.T. and the ROSAT P.I. group.
