On the Integral Equations of Two-Dimensional Subsonic Flutter Derivative Theory

摘要

This note gives the result of an attempt to find an analytical solution of Posse’s integral equation the equation which connects the downwash and the pressure distribution on an aerofoil oscillating in two-dimensional subsonic compressible flow. A method is given for solving this problem and for solving the corresponding problem in incompressible flow (the solution of Birnbaum's integral equation).
