摘要

Goodyear Aerospace Corporation (GAC), under Contract NAS I-8276 with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's Langley Research Center, has performed five-color (UBVEE) photometric and polarimetric observations on the PAGEOS I, Echo II, Explorer 19 and Explorer 39 inflatable satellites. The observations were made from Palomar Mountain, California (1968) and Yuma, Arizona (1969), in a continuing program to evaluate satellite materials by ground-based photometry.nTo obtain high frequency response data recordings of these (and future) observations, a new l4-channel frequency modulated magnetic tape recorder was installed and used in NASA's mobile Satellite Photometric Observatory.
