The Westinghouse Salt Disposition System Engineering Team identified non-elutable ion exchange as one of the preferred alternatives for replacing the In-Tank Precipitation Facility for the removal of radiocesium from High Level Waste. This paper describes parametric studies on column performance for a specific ion exchange material.
