Neutron and non-neutron nuclear data for radiation dosimetry

摘要

Neutron nuclear data that is used in reaction dosimetry include thermal neutron211u001ecross sections and neutron resonance integrals, fission spectrum averaged cross 211u001esections for reactions on a target nucleus. Non-neutron nuclear data used in 211u001ereactor dosimetry include isotopic compositions of target nuclides and 211u001eradioactive half-lives, gamma-ray energies and intensities of reaction product 211u001enuclides. All of these data are periodically evaluated and recommended values are 211u001eprovided in the handbook of chemistry and physics. The latest recommended values 211u001eare discussed and they are contrasted with some earlier nuclear data, which was 211u001eprovided with neutron detector foils.
