摘要

Measurements of the effective resonance integral, thermal and epithermal self-shielding factors, and Doppler coefficients a and β in the isotope are reported. The measurements cover a range of more than four decades in surface/mass ratio (S/M), and 500°C in temperature in four steps. The measurements were made by activation in a nominally 1/E neutron energy spectrum.nThe objective was to provide correlated experimental data —the accuracies and limitations of which are well understood — for use in examining the effect of theoretical approximations in the calculation by analytical methods of both resonance integrals and Doppler effects. For this purpose, it was important that the data cover as wide a range as possible of important parameters.
