Three appendices are included: preconceptual design data sheets, market potential analysis methodology and detailed results, and parametric analysis methodology and detailed results. The first provides data for all subsystems of the preconceptual design. The second appendix on market analysis includes information on solar/fossil/nuclear plant economic and performance assumptions, sensitivity analysis, regional electricity demand forecasts, forecasted coal/nuclear fraction of capacity additions, cost input data and levelized busbar cost calculations. The last appendix includes economic evaluations, scaling relationships for parametric evaluations, analyses of the collector subsystem, field design and analysis, collector subsystem master control and receiver subsystems analyses.
