Modeling of Transient Performance of Residential Solar Air Conditioning Systems

A model is described for the transient and steady performance of LiBr-H sub 2 O absorption coolers. The model uses a single lumped capacitance, leading to start-up and shut-down time constants. The model is used in TRNSYS simulations in Miami, Florida, and Charleston, SC. (ERA citation 05:015324)
