After 5.050 hours of operation, the screw elements of the extruder evaporator in the bituminization plant have been exchanged for elements with a higher abrasion resistance. The report describes the various working phases that have led, within ten weeks, to a successful accomplishment, and gives details on the required manpower, the total dose commitment, the wastes produced, and the wear of the extruder screw elements.
