Further Results on the Subject of Tearing Instability. Volume 1

摘要

Additional results on the subject of tearing instability are presented as a compillation of five technical papers by several authors. Collectively, the papers add to the development of tearing instability as originally presented in NUREG-0311, published in 1977. The papers strengthen the basis of tearing instability theory and illustrate the broad applicability of the underlying J-integral methodology. The second paper also deals with a method for J-R curve determination by load-displacement test record analysis which is of immediate importance to fracture mechanics experimentalists.
