Cooling and Dehumidification by Nocturnal Radiation. Final Report

摘要

An experimental apparatus whose major parts were a radiator and a rock bin storage was constructed and data were taken to investigate cooling and dehumidification by means of nocturnal radiation. The temperature of the rock bin storage could not be brought down to the minimum ambient night time temperature. The radiator was able to collect some water during the night. No water drained from the rock bin as air passed through it during day. While the results were not as good as expected, there appears to be some summer time benefits available from such a system in some regions. (ERA citation 09:000597)
