Electromagnetic Interactions of Mesons in the Superconductor Quark Model

The electromagnetic radii of kaons sub(Ksup(+-))=0.34 fm exp 2 , sub(Ksup(0))=-0.06 fm exp 2 as well as electric (a) and magnetic ( beta ) polarizabilities of pions and kaons at two possible values of the epsilon meson mass: msub(epsilon)=800 MeV and msub(epsilon)=700 MeV, are calculated in the superconductor quark model. In the first case it is obtained that asub( pi sup(+-))=5.9, beta sub(psup(+-))=-5.8, asub( pi sup(0))=-1.2, beta sub( pi sup(0))=2.3, asub(Ksup(+-))=1.1, beta sub(Ksup(+-))=0.6, asub(Ksup(0))=0.3, beta sub(Ksup(0))=0.7. In the second one, asub( pi sup(+-))=7.0, beta sub( pi sup(+-))=-6.9, asub( pi sup(0))=-0.041, beta sub( pi sup(0))=1.1, asub(Ksup(+-))=1.3, beta sub(Ksup(+-))=-0.8, asub(Ksup(0))=0.55, beta sub(Ksup(0))=0.45. The data are given in units a( beta )x10 exp -3 fm exp 3 (e exp 2 /4 pi =1/137). In evaluating the meson polarizabilities the contributions of the box quark diagrams and e, e(1300), S*, delta, rho, omega , K*, A sub 1 , Q sub 1 (scalar, vector and axial-vector mesons) pole diagrams are taken into account.
