Novel Diphosphonic and Triphosphonic Esters and Their Preparation and Uses

This claim concerns a new group of di- and triphosphonic esters, especially dibasic esters of acids in which the two phosphorus atoms are bound by a hydrocarbon group. The claim also includes a manufacturing process for these novel compounds and their use in solvent extraction of uranium. Procedures are presented using these phosphoric esters. 2 tables.
