Superconducting Ground State of a Strongly Interacting Electron System: UBe sub 13

摘要

The following experimental properties of UBe sub 13 are discussed: magnetic susceptibility, magnetization, electrical resistivity, and specific heat. Results suggest that the superconducting state of UBe sub 13 may not be primarily due to conventional electron-phonon coupling, but rather a result of interactions of magnetic origin, probably antiferromagnetic.
