In this paper, a new class of spherically symmetric interior solution with cosmological constant lambda is obtained, to which Florides' solution is extended. As a special case, the metric in uniform proper density is discussed. The Robson junction condition is also extended to the case with lambda , which is a set of necessary and sufficient condition for a spherically symmetric metric to join smoothly onto the vacuum metric at a nonnull boundary surface. The new solution satisfies the extended Robson condition. 13 refs. (Atomindex citation 18:062443)
