摘要

The bath consists of an aqueous solution of a lead compound, an alkaline citrate, an alkaline hydroxide and a reducing agent. Formaldehyde is used as reducing agent. The bath contains about 29 g/L of lead salt, about 114 g/L of sodium citrate, about 140 g/L of alkaline hydroxide and about 100 g/L of formaldehyde. Lead acetate is used as lead salt. Precipitation is carried out between +1 and +100 deg C. Precipitation of lead is carried out on a substance that does not conduct electric current. The surface before being coated with lead is made rough and then subjected to preparatory treatment by means of a solution of tin salt, then a solution of a noble metal salt.
