Search for Narrow Dibaryon Resonances in the pp pi (sup 0) Channel

Experimental indications of dibaryon resonances (DBR) are discussed. A search for DBR using a specially built spectrometer in the elementary pion production channel: P + P->P + P + pi /sup 0/ is described. A C12 target was bombarded by 800 MeV protons. The shape of the spectrum is consistent with corresponding charged pi figures. Results show that the system, after modifications, can be used to hunt DBR. (ERA citation 14:013803)
