Absolute neutron capture cross sections of /sup 45/Sc, /sup 141/Pr, /sup 165/Ho, /sup nat/Lu and /sup 238/U have been measured in the 0.5 to 3.0 MeV energy range. The corresponding gamma-ray spectra due to the capture of 0.5 MeV neutrons on /sup 141/Pr, /sup 165/Ho, /sup nat/Lu and /sup 238/U are presented, as well as a comparison between different data concerning the radiative capture cross section of /sup 238/U.
