Conference on Safety and Pollution Safeguards in the Development of North West European Offshore Mineral Resources

This Report on the proceedings of the 5th Conference on safety and pollution safeguards in Copenhagen 3, 4 and 5 November 1986 includes a summary record of the discussions at the Conference. The text of the Standards accepted at the Conference are included in appendix seven. For the text of Standards not yet accepted as well as the text of Standards accepted at previous Conferences, reference is made to the summary of proceedings of the fourth Conference in London i October 1984. The Conference agreed to continue the work on safety and pollution safeguards in the development of North West European offshore mineral resources. The Federal Republic of Germany was elected to take over the chairmanship and secretariat and the Netherlands declared its willingness to take over for the subsequent period. All Delegations were in favour of maintaining regular contact between the authorities concerned with offshore safety and to exchange reports and other information thereon. (ERA citation 12:046051)
