Solubility of Aluminum, Silicon, Iron and Nickel in the gamma , beta and alpha Modifications of Uranium.

摘要

The goal of the present work was a determination of the solubilities of aluminum, silicon, iron and nickel in industrial uranium and improvement of the uranium part of the phase diagram of the corresponding binary systems in connection with this. For this we investigated alloys containing up to 10 at. % alloying elements. All the alloys were melted in an arc furnace in an atmosphere of chemically pure argon. 4 figs. (ERA citation 13:029215)
