摘要

The objective of this program is to investigate multichannel, multiwavelengthswitching via four wave mixing in semiconductor optical amplifiers. We have successfully demonstrated and modeled two channel switching within a single amplifier for the first time. Bit error rate and power penalty measurements are reported as well as techniques to increase channel capacity using Gain Clamping Technique.
