Evaluation of the Mobile Medical Monitor (M3) at Forward Levels of Care

Portable medical technologies support delivery of care to deployed forces in theater operations and in Operations Other Than War. The Mobile Medical Monitor (M3) concept creates a clinical and information support system composed of a standard battlefield computer with an integrated clinical sensor suite capable of data storage and forwarding. The primary objective of this report is to document the evaluation of the M3(B) workstation. The evaluation was conducted to determine the extent to which the M3(B) requirements met the primary objectives of increased clinical capabilities, increased productivity, increased provider satisfaction, and reduced footprint. Evaluation was conducted and recorded for the clinical sensors and the management information support capabilities.
