摘要

We have obtained experimental evidence confirming each component of our proposed scheme for nuclear spin-based large scale quantum computation. Long decoherence time, individual accessibility and optical initialization/readout of nuclear spins are promising. A semiconductor BIT system shows promise as an interface between the nuclear spins and photonic qubits. Deterministic, indistinguishable single-photon sources fro the use as photonic qubits have been confirmed in our group and others. Our accomplishments over the period are described in detail below.
